A1 :  Greetings Word cards and Pictures - LS 1.2.1(a)

Teacher put up picture of situation in the morning.

Teacher guides pupils to talk about the picture. 

Introduce pupils to the word-‘Good morning’ by putting up the word card.

Continue with the other pictures and word cards. Eg : Good afternoon’ ‘Good evening' ‘Good night’

A2 : Running & Touch - LS 1.2.1(a)

Paste the pictures on the wall around the classroom.

Pupils are divided into group of four and label as A,B, C and D,

Teacher asks pupils to run to the picture 

Repeat for all the pictures

A3 : Matching Game - 2.2.1(a)

Teacher asks pupils to match the word cards to the pictures on the board

A4 : Reading Chant - LS 2.2.3

Put up chant on the board.

Teacher guides pupils to read the chant

Pupils present the chant in group.

A5 : Copy and Write - LS 3.1.2(a)

Teacher guides pupils to copy the word into writing lines correctly.

A6 : Jumbled Letters - LS 3.1.2(a)

Teacher asks pupils to write the correct words with picture guidance

A7 : Sing Greetings Song - LS 4.3.2(c)

Put up the lyrics -TB page 10

Teacher guides pupils to sing the song.

Pupils present the song.
